i've been pimping my apartment

i live in a teeny tiny studio apartment and i can almost reach everything from my bed, which sound convenient but isn't really. i've lived here for 1½ years and it's looked dull and confusing the whole time. this weekend i made it my goal to re-organize and cleaning, trying to make it pretty. perhaps the change is hard to see for everyone else, but i'm sooo happy with the result! i keep starring at my craft corner and smiling, it really makes me happy. i'm gonna keep focusing on my apartment for a while and make it pretty. ever since i moved here i've been on my way out and didn't think it was that important make an effort, but a 1½ years later i'm still not out of this apartment so i better give it some love.

and a close up at the embroidery i made last night. i traced a drawing by the talented gemma correll. it's my first in 13 years at least so it's not perfect but i'm very happy with it anyways.



i still want more art on my walls, and i need to de-clutter a bit more, but in my eyes it's SUCH an improvement. i also worked a lot on my kitchen, which i'll show you later this week.
